For Christmas 2026, order Quali3D canvases, mugs, stickers and apparel by December 4 for the US and by December 1 for Canada. Everything we sell in print is made to order, so the deadline is earlier than for items that sit in a warehouse. Here is how the dates work and a plan that keeps you well clear of them.
The dates
| Country | Order by | Day of week |
|---|---|---|
| Canada | December 1, 2026 | Tuesday |
| United States | December 4, 2026 | Friday |
These are the dates we recommend, not a guarantee. Etsy shows an estimated delivery date for your address at checkout, so use that as the final check.
Why the deadline is earlier than you might expect
- Production comes first. Canvases, mugs, stickers and apparel are printed to order, and we ask you to allow 5 to 7 days for production before the order ships.
- Then shipping. Canvases ship from California. US shipping is free. Canada is a flat CA$24.99 for square canvases and CA$29.99 for panoramic ones (as of October 2026). Mugs, stickers, tees and hoodies are charged at checkout on Etsy and vary by item. Delivery time varies, and the busiest weeks of December are slower for every carrier.
- Bigger sizes are safer ordered early. If a canvas is the main gift, order it first.
A countdown plan
- Now to mid-November: choose. Check the gift guide, ask for the list, and decide on the size. Our posts on who really picks the holiday gift and buying for a gamer you don't understand can help.
- Black Friday week (Friday, November 27 to Monday, November 30): order. You will be ahead of both deadlines, and the big canvas is on its way.
- Before December 1 if you are in Canada, December 4 if you are in the US: the last day to order a printed gift. After that, we cannot recommend a printed order for Christmas.
- Keep one backup. A digital gift needs no shipping (see below).
If you missed the date
- Digital files: our STL and 3MF files are instant downloads from Etsy and nothing is shipped. They suit someone who already owns a 3D printer, and printing takes time, so check with a parent first. Our STL guide explains what is in a download.
- A note for the tree: print the product page, or take a photo of the design, and tell the recipient it is coming. Many families do this with big gifts that arrive after the 25th.
Ordering from Canada
Canvases are printed in the US, so Canadian orders are shipped across the border. Our guide to ordering from Canada explains the flat shipping rates, and the shipping page lists every fact in one place.
